I see a lot of other breeders stating the higher the price the better the bird which is untrue. I'm not here to rake people nor am I like our government who raises prices so high you cannot afford gas, mortgages, etc.

I raise my birds on Roudybush pellets and see that they get the medical attention they need. I pay more for their food than I spend alone to live on. I am not like your pet stores who charge you taxes on a bird you cannot even handle.

When you look at my birds they are bigger, very helathy and are socialized. They all have different personalities. I do not let them fly out of their cages. They have many toys for happiness and exercise. Why don't I let them fly around? It would be very easy for them to fly into a wall, outside, or into objects like fans that can cause harm or even worse... death!

I have purchased high quality breeders but you don't see me saying the higher the price, the better the bird which is a total outrage! If you believe that then you get what you get and find out later that the bird was not worth the price after all. (That's not saying that ALL expensive birds are bad.)

I do not force weaning on any of my babies and I don't normally hand feed them. I hand feed only if the parents stop feeding. Why? Let's face it, in the wild their parents raise them. I find if their feeding I check on them and hold them so they do come to me. I do believe when you buy a bird instead of you choosing your bird that you should let the bird choose you! After all, there is a connection that is visible if you just look for it. Just come over and visit them and it will be obvious who wants to be yours or meet one who is just right for you!
